How To Style: Men’s Dress Shirt

What’s up guys?! If you’ve stumbled upon this post, I want to personally thank you. I have been the absolute worst with updating my blog. Do you ever just plan on doing something and then life gets super busy? I feel like I haven’t stopped. Now that things have finally slowed down, I’m trying (keyword “trying”) to get back to posting on my blog weekly.

The first post (after a couple months…yikes), I thought I would start with something new. Hopefully “How To Style” turns into a mini series where I show my readers how to style a piece of clothing they own or want to own. Finding a men’s dress shirt is easy peasy. I found mine at a thrift store but I’m positive if I looked through my dad’s closet I could find one also. Borrowing from the boys is one of my favorite ways to style. I hope that as you scroll down you find inspiration in my outfits and add your own twist to styling a men’s dress shirt. Let me know in the comments what you’re favorite way to style men’s clothing is. Happy Reading!

  1. The first way I styled the men’s dress shirt was with a pair of high waisted shorts and suede booties. This outfit is the most casual of the two and happens to be my summer go to if I’m in a hurry and don’t know what to put on. I’m not kidding I wore this outfit 3 days in a row once!

2. The second look is a tad more dressed up. In order to turn your men’s dress shirt into a chic off the shoulder top, drape the shirt off your shoulders and button wherever it feels comfiest! This look is super easy to pull off and requires just the shirt.

3. The last look features my favorite way to tuck a shirt; the half tack! This look is perfect for any occasion that doesn’t require being in a dress; dinner, movies, GNO, date night, etc, all work perfectly for this look.
