DIY Harley Davidson Shirt

A few months ago I stumbled upon a picture of Hailey Baldwin wearing a vintage shirt that was cut in half and sewn to another t-shirt. As of late, I have been obsessed with tshirts but struggle with making them stand out. This trend is a perfect way to stay comfy and casual but also make a statement. I began looking online at Etsy and iamkoko but realized the shirts were out of my budget range($50-$70 for a tshirt..say what?!). Since I knew how to sew I decided to recreate the look myself. The next day, I took a trip to my local Goodwill and found two old Harley Davidson shirts. I measured both and then cut them in half in order ┬áto stitch them together. I loved the way the shirt came out! I wear it almost every week. It’s so versatile. It can be dressed up or dressed down. I will definitely be making more of them in the future with different tshirt brands. Stay tuned for next Thurday’s post where I’ll share a tutorial on how to make the shirt yourself.
